Within the center are several sub-centers in which an innovative multidisciplinary approach allows for the optimal evaluation and Photo of Stethoscopemanagement of all aspects of gastrointestinal disease.

The Center contains the UCLA Medical Procedures Unit (MPU), where all outpatient gastroenterological procedures are performed. It is a state-of-the-art facility with eight procedure rooms and a 15-bed recovery suite. In addition to the Peter Morton Medical Building, the Division has other outpatient consultation facilities in the 100 UCLA Medical Plaza building and the Santa Monica community practice office.
